Wib Antler Ed Barrett

Gary Nummelin Shiram Mulgund

PROXY FORMS
Proxy forms were sent out via e-mail earlier this month to all voting members. If you are a voting member and did not receive the e-mail you should contact clpens@rogers.com to receive your copy. If you are unable to attend and wish to assign your proxy to a member of the executive committee or someone other than a member of the executive committee you may do so by following the procedures outlined in the e-mail.
QUESTIONS FOR THE ANNUAL MEETING
In order to insure that those unable to attend the annual general meeting are able to ask questions this year we will accept e-mails from the membership. The executive will address as many as time allows. Any questions that cannot be addressed will however be addressed at a later date. Please e-mail your questions to clpens@rogers.com or send them to our Box # outlined above.
Please try to limit the length of your question.
NOTICE - SPAM FILTER
In the ongoing battle against spam, our Internet Service Provider has increased restrictions on outgoing mail by lowering the number of messages that can be sent out as “blind carbon copies” (i.e. where the recipient’s name and addresses do not appear in the address line of the message). As well, there are restrictions on the total number of messages which may be sent out per day, and per hour.
Because of this, we experienced problems sending out the previous newsletter. Apologies to anyone who received duplicate messages, or whom we may have missed.
With this newsletter, we are trying out a new mailing program that should eliminate the problem of too many bcc recipients. However, we may need to stagger the mailing over a few hours. We will do our best to notify all CLPENS members on the same day.
REMINDER
Ø Please continue to advise us if your e-mail address changes or if you know of other member’s address change, so that no one misses out on receiving CLPENS information.
Ø If you have contact information of other ex-Canada Lifers, please forward this e-mail and the CLPENS website to them. The more members we have, the more credible a force we will be in dealing with the Company.
WE LOOK FORWARD TO ANOTHER LARGE TURN OUT ON OCTOBER 25th At THE ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION-BRANCH 66.
President: Wib Antler
Vice President: Ed Barrett
Secretary and Treasurer: Gary Nummelin
Committee Members: Phil Davy, Alex Harvey, David Kidd, Jim Martin, Shriram Mulgund, Brian Lynch, Fred Taggart
