The 2007 Annual General Meeting will be held on the evening of November 14th from 7 PM to 8:30 PM.

Our legal counsel will be present at the meeting to inform everyone of our current position and what we can expect in future. We will also be electing the executive committee for the coming year. The list of candidates who have agreed to let their names stand for election appears below.

Branch 66 is located on Spring Garden Ave., two blocks north of Shepherd off Yonge St. At Spring Garden Ave. turn right (east). The Legion is the first building east of Yonge on the north side.

For those who are driving there is some parking on the west side of the Legion. There is also parking available in nearby parking lots and on the street.

Following the meeting there will be an opportunity to socialize with old and new friends. We look forward to seeing many of our members on November 14^th and hope you will plan to attend.

For the upcoming year (2007/2008), the executive committee has agreed to forgo the $25 annual fee for all voting members.

In order to be eligible to vote at the AGM, you must be a voting member. If you are not already a voting member and would like to become one, you may do so by completing the application form available from the website, and bringing it to the AGM, along with the initiation fee of $100. Alternatively, you may mail the completed form and a cheque to

At the 2006 General Meeting,  Wib Antler, Ed Barrett, Phil Davy, Gary Nummelin, Alex Harvey and Shriram Mulgund were elected to a two year term.  This year the following are standing  for re-election for a two year term:

Please note that a voting member may nominate any voting member for a position on the executive. This is subject to confirmation of acceptance by the nominated voting member. In addition another voting member must second the nomination.

Proxy forms will be sent out via e-mail to voting members. If you are a voting member and do not receive the e-mail you should contact clpens@rogers.com to receive your copy. If you are unable to attend and wish to assign your proxy to a member of the executive committee or someone other than a member of the executive committee you may do so by following the procedures outlined in the e-mail.
